The Client:
Brunei Halal are an international food producer and one of the leading brands in Halal foods.
The Brief:
Brunei Halal approached Green Gorilla to create a TV Advert that they would be able to use across multiple TV channels and media platforms.
Production:
As a film production company, we love filming food! And let’s face it, everyone loves a good food TV advert right?
Brunei Halal needed a cinematic television commercial that highlighted their newest range of halal products. This TV commercial would be the centre of their digital marketing campaign, so no pressure!
Because we worked with the marketing team, chefs and sales staff we were able to put a range of ideas together for them.
A lot of food photography and videography just focuses on the product, but we wanted to tell a story. By using a farm to family narrative, we showed the core beliefs of the company to its target demographics.

The filming took place across the West Midlands in a variety of filming locations and we had a fantastic crew and team behind us. There are so many filming locations that are open you as a film maker, but sometimes simplicity is the key. For the family scenes we simply used airbnb and couldn’t recommend the service more for its help.
Filming in 4k has future proofed the film so that it will be a great marketing tool for them for many years to come.
The Deliverable:
A TV advert to be used on multiple TV channels, that could also be used as a social media film. Their film was not only aired but became a facebook video, website film and youtube video for their marketing team.
The production was a huge part of Brunei Halal’s product launch into Tesco and we were so pleased with the film and so were Brunei Halal.
